This workshop is a great space for beginners to learn the tools and tricks of the trade and those with more experience to push their understanding of line, structure and form.
If you have a small object or two that you would like to draw, please bring them with you
to the workshop. A selection of fun and interesting subject matter will also be provided for you to select from if needed.

Painting Intro
This intro to painting will focus on color mixing.
After a short discussion of color theory, we will dive into painting and create color charts to understand the potential within the primary colors. After our color exploration we will sketch and paint our subjects. Drawing experience helpful but not required. Our time together will focus on the process and discovering what is possible with a limited palette.

Janet Fagan has been drawing and painting as long as she can remember. She began work as a professional artist right out of college and has never looked back. Spending her life making, exhibiting and teaching art has shaped her belief that we are all Artists. She loves to help others access their abilities to create and express by making safe spaces for experimenting and facilitating next steps as artists are ready for them.
